He has earned accolades as a Top 100 Leader & Innovator in Real Estate (World Real Estate Forum) and is a multi-year CoStar Power Broker. His expertise spans transformative projects in hospitality and mixed-use development, and he has worked with clients like Goldman Sachs, Nike, and Madison Realty Capital.

Appointed by NYC mayors and congressional leaders, James holds key governance roles, including Director of the NYCIDA Board and Build NYC, advising on economic growth and post-pandemic recovery. A tech disruptor, he developed industry-shaping software and founded PreReal, a cutting-edge real estate tech firm, brokerage, and investment firm. David Berman

David Berman began his construction and real estate journey in Washington, D.C., in 1989 after graduating from American University with a degree in real estate and urban development. He bought his first property six months later and fondly recalls the $36,500 purchase that began a career of almost four decades. Returning to his roots in New York City in 1993, David worked with his father, immersing himself in building residential homes and land development.Over the next few years, David exhibited a remarkable knack for identifying, acquiring, reworking, leasing, and managing an array of residential, commercial, and manufacturing properties. His passion for tackling challenging assets, often those that others failed at, required both vision and determination. These traits became a defining constant in his professional trajectory. Known for his adept management of complex properties within demanding markets, David solidified his reputation as a skilled manager of challenging real estate projects. As his appetite for calculated risks burgeoned, Davif expanded his portfolio diversity, encompassing ventures from a small airport to acquiring a scrap and recycling center and a transfer station. His foresight, diligence, and tireless work ethic positioned him as an invaluable asset in diverse development projects. Notably, alongside James Prendamano, David co-launched Prereal Investments, demonstrating his commitment to adding value in a dynamic real estate market.
